I love the look, feel, and had a lot of fun putting this case on, however after about 2 weeks all the corners are starting to break at the "seams" and falling off from regular use. If you want something that's going to look perfect for a long time..this probably isn't it.

Shipping was free and quick, which is a good start. Applying it wasn't hard, I'm just not good at it. Once the glue set in it wasn't going to come off easily, which was good. Great case overall

Well, I received the cover much faster than I assumed which is great. Application was the hardest part of course but it wasn't too challenging. After you place a piece you definitely can remove it to re apply several times before the glue starts setting and after then you can move the cover around on the phone. It has a wonderful feel to it and the amount of people that come to me complimenting me or asking about it is amazing. One gripe I have is that the first couple days with it on and a significant amount of lint builds up. Other than that it is fantastic!

Thanks for the awesome review, and no worries; the lint is temporary! There's a little bit of adhesive exposed around the edges which wears off within a few days of use, and then lint no more. You can also remedy this by wiping the edges with the included alcohol wipe just after install. :)

Great look but room for improvement

I'd like to start by saying that the product looks awesome and I would definitely purchase this again for my next phone. I do, however, have some constructive criticism to give.

The first issue is that the front too and bottom plates aren't quite exact to size. The top leaves about a millimetre gap on the edge and the bottom also leaves a gap of about two millimetres from the screen.

I'm not sure if this is a part of the design or I was missing a couple pieces, but on the back cover the top and bottom corners are uncovered. It looks like something could fit there and it would have been nice to have complete continuity of the skin.

As a personal preference, I really like the metal rails on the V10 and would have liked to leave them uncovered, but since the top and bottom pieces overlap onto the rails it makes it a little hard to do so.

This all being said and done, I'm happy with what I have and it definitely beats the bulk of having a case.

Thanks for the detailed review, and just wanted to clarify on the design, as we always try and cover the device in as much wood as possible. :)

The screen cutout on all of our front panels extend ~1mm from the actual display, as not to conflict touchscreen tasks, such as pulling down the hidden notification bar, swiping from the sides of the display, etc.

Those small spaces at top & bottom of the back cover are necessary due to the curvature of the back itself - curves require laser-scored lines to enable the wood to wrap them, and unfortunately this was not enough space for the thin, scored sections of wood to bond - they just wouldn't hold with regular use.

The overlap from the top & bottom wraps are also necessary if you wish to use the side wraps, however you can easily cut them off right at the scorelines and rock the naked rails.

The cover for the phone is great. It feels excellent to hold and looks unique!

Unfortunately I have one one complaint, after just two weeks of use the front facing side corners have fallen off already.

I still love the cover and I don't plan on taking it off any time soon.

Thanks for the lovely review, and so sorry to hear about the corner issue!

When designing a new cover, we always test with various high grade 3M adhesives to find the perfect match for the materials / textures of the device. Many covers receive a variety of adhesives when a combination of materials are used.

As long as you wipe down the entire device using the included cleaning pad prior to install (especially the corners so they're free of hand oils), peeling should never be an issue.

I used this cover for almost 2 weeks now. I love it. I love how it feels in the hands. It can take few drops and actually protect the phone. It is not only for show.
I just have 2 complaints:
1 - The IR blaster is not working with the top cover. While it is cut nicely around the IR port, it seems the blaster needs more room to send out the signal to the TV.
2 - The corners on the stainless steel sides fall off after a week. The design was perfect to cover all sides of the phone but those tiny triangles couldn’t stick after few days of putting the phone in my pocket and removing from my pocket over and over again.

Love the cover fits great. Easy to install. Had a problem unlocking the phone at about day 2 or 3. Narrowed it down to the cover over the light sensor and speaker so I just removed it. The cover looked so cool that I didn't really care. Without even contacting the company a week and a half later toast sent me out a new revised cover for the section I removed. That's love. Thank you toast. Great job.

Great idea and great products, but the curved sides come off

I love the way this wood feels. However after two weeks of use, the top and side bars started to peel off and i lost one of the wood panels. The top parts of the sodes broke off on their own so it is very fragile. I would like the product to be a bit more robust and one that can maintain the hold.

I would like a new set just to get the top piece and replace the side pieces.
